Stagelink appoints high-profile advisory board with Frank Taubert, Thomas Hesse and Gerd Gebhardt
Event crowdsourcing platform stagelink.com has appointed high-profile music industry managers to its advisory board. Chairman Frank Taubert, founder and former CEO of 24-7 Entertainment (acquired by Media Saturn), is joined by Thomas Hesse, former President of Sony Music Entertainment in charge of Global Digital Business and US Sales/Distribution, and Gerd Gebhardt, former President of Warner Music Central Europe. The board’s objective is to actively support Stagelink’s management team led by founder and CEO Nikolas Schriefer, and its upcoming expansion plans. “Stagelink has shown terrific initial results and is growing very rapidly”, says advisory board chairman Frank Taubert, who also helped to fund the company as its first angel investor. “Their revolutionary model has been well received in the live market and the time has now come to accelerate their international expansion.“
„Stagelink is well positioned to drive new opportunities in live music, but also in supporting other YouTube stars in the live market. We can see significant upside potential“, says Thomas Hesse. Gerd Gebhardt adds: „Stagelink.com is an extremely innovative new digital platform. I am glad to support the team around Nikolas Schriefer.“
„The Stagelink team is proud to have such a high-profile advisory board, which confirms that our innovative model will play an important role in the entertainment ecosystem of the future“, concludes Nikolas Schriefer.
